Our client is a nationally recognised construction firm with modern offices and a great team culture.

They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Officer to join their team.

Working on a full-time basis, our client needs someone to assist with the end to end accounts payable function.

The roles duties and responsibilities would include:

• You will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable function including processing high volumes of invoices
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Preparing weekly payment runs including staff expenses and credit card reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate ledgers and registers
• Month end reporting duties

The successful candidate would have:

• Quick and accurate data entry skills
• 2+ years experience in Accounts Payable
• Solid experience using accounting software
• Excellent communication skills
• The communication skills to liaise with all customers, employees, and other stakeholders
• Strong initiative and problem solving skills
• Attention to details in all aspects of the role
