Core Civic Hiring for Director of Talent and Performance Management at Brentwood, TN Full Time

• Designs and manages CoreCivic’s talent management, succession planning and high potential identification and development processes. Identifies and evaluates tools to be used in conjunction with these enterprise processes. Works with company leaders to ensure fulfillment of leadership development plans.
• Designs, develops, and implements a leadership assessment strategy that utilizes multiple methods and multiple tools to identify and assess leaders at all levels. Identifies, automates, and validates assessment tools aimed at 360-degree feedback, cognitive capabilities, personality preferences, leadership style, leadership derailers, and emotional intelligence.
• Designs, manages, and implements individual success profile strategies that codify the ingredients of success in individual roles, including experiences and competencies.
• Develops coaching and mentoring capability throughout the organization toward the desired state of continuous feedback. Manages the coach/coachee matching and follow-up processes.
• Designs and conducts supply and demand analyses of CoreCivic’s current and future human capital and competency needs of the organization and recommends strategies to meet those needs.
• Leads the ongoing performance management process, ensuring that leaders and employees are informed, trained and coached on goals setting, development plans, performance improvement plans, mid-year check-ins, self-review, annual performance reviews, and observation checklists. Partners with senior leaders to cascade company goals that align with the enterprise strategies.
• Develops and manages the timeline, development, and delivery of talent and performance management communication, training, including timelines and program implementation dates.
• Designs and maximizes current infrastructure and investments, identifies and manages the deployment of technology related to talent and performance management.
• Manages talent management staff, providing leadership, direction and oversight.
• Domestic U.S. travel is required.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or an acceptable related field is required.
• Five years of Human Resources work experience is required.
• Experience with cloud-based talent systems is required.
• Experience with talent management, performance management and succession planning are required.
• Three years of experience in a leadership capacity is preferred.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Experience in CoreCivic’s talent and performance processes preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
