Core-Asset Consulting Hiring for Digital Designer Job at Edinburgh, Scotland Full Time

Job Description:

A new role has arisen for an experienced, creative Digital Designer with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and AfterEffects. Working in a global professional firm, you will be responsible for the
design and production of digital materials, liaising directly with clients, colleagues and external agencies. Design is a key consideration of all digital work and you will also regularly review existing digital content and identify potential design improvements, and work with the rest of the digital team to implement those changes. Working closely with UX experts, you will ensure that a balance is struck between usability best practise and design excellence.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and AfterEffects.
• Comfortable using HTML and working in a CMS.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience of using Sketch and XD would be beneficial.

Core Responsibilities:

• Gathering of briefs, development and implementation of digital designs in collaboration with team members, other teams, external agencies.
• Production of digital versions of bespoke ‘tier 1’ articles, papers, and reports. Consultation on design aspects of all digital development and implementation, including email templates, web templates, IC content.
• Development of excellent working relationships firm-wide to offer original innovative creative digital solutions.
• Become a key link between the Digital Comms team and CMM, ensuring the work we produce is in line with current guidelines and agreed approaches.
• Simultaneously handle a number of different projects and prioritise own deadlines accordingly to meet the requirements of clients.
• Produce a high standard of creative digital work, ensuring accurate and consistent work is shared with the team and provided to the client.
• Awareness and articulation of the latest creative industry standards and trends, and provision of regular updates to the team on same.
• Create and maintain close working relationships with other creative teams.
