Coquina Systems Hiring for Junior Software Developer at Remote Full Time

Coquina Systems is looking for a Junior Software Developer with primary skills in Cand Python Scripting (2-5 years experience).

Must Haves:

U.S. Citizen or Green Card

2-5 of years’ hands on experience in object-oriented software development.

This is a 6 month contract with a potential extension or contract to hire
Position description:
The role is to help develop a software product to be utilized internally. Once developed this resource would you utilize the system to process customer data but that will also require additional coding for each run.

Participate in development efforts on new or existing software applications.

Communicating with project leads to ensure that customer requirements are properly understood and met.

Contribute to the identification of requirements and assist with developing high level designs and work breakdown structures. Prepare materials for technical briefings and s

Researching and utilizing new and emerging technologies to meet customer requirements.

Providing technical support to ensure smooth integration of software applications to a production environment.

Articulating software configuration and use through documentation.

Identifying testing criteria and implementing acceptance tests for software applications
Required Skills & Experience:
· U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder

· 2-5 of years’ hands on experience in object-oriented software development.

· Work iteratively and are driven by feedback loops and critique.

· Experience taking high-level, abstract concepts to implementation by developing increasingly more complex software applications in relevant languages:

· Ability to interface with Vendors and decipher/troubleshoot 3rd party vendor code
Preferred Skills & Experience:

o Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similarly relevant engineering discipline

o Experience with software development incorporating Government and Industry standards, such as Open Mission Systems (OMS), Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI), Common Open Architecture Radar Programs (COARPs), Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), TOA/Redhawk, or similarly relevant emerging standards.

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
