Copy House Hiring for Head of People & Talent Acquisition Job at Edinburgh, Scotland Full Time

We’re on the hunt for a talent acquisition/head of people.

You’ll love championing a great company culture, finding the latest talent and helping us scale our company to new heights. You’ll be responsible for recruitment in-line with our growth goals, employee onboarding and work alongside the MD to further refine our company culture.

Role Requirements:

• 3+ years of HR/recruitment experience in a fast-paced work environment
• Familiarity with the agency world (or service-based businesses)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with employer branding
• Demonstrated track record of recruiting & retaining top talent

Day in the Life

You’ll work closely with our Managing Director to manage the recruitment process, find top talent, create cultural initiatives and continue our mission of ‘happy team, happy clients.’ Some of your roles will include:

• Creating job descriptions and setting up advertising campaigns
• Screening resumes & candidates (via 15 minute intro calls)
• Working with the MDs personal assistant to arrange longer interviews
• Building a network of candidates and supporting our ABR (always be recruiting) initiatives
• Setting up contracts, ordering equipment and onboarding new employees following our onboarding process
• Creating induction plans to welcome new hires
• Launching new cultural initiatives & helping employees to have a great experience at Copy House
• Managing employees’ benefits, pay reviews, keeping staff records up-to-date and implementing a People Portal that includes an ATS used for recruitment purposes
• Working with the Marketing Manager to refine our employer branding and attract top talent
• Coordinating with our employment lawyer on contracts, queries, etc.
• Overseeing and refining our recruitment and people management processes and policies
• Managing holiday allowance & coordinating payroll with our bookkeeper

The Nitty-Gritty

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week). We’re all currently working remotely and plan to remain remote for the next year. This role gives you the chance to positively impact a growing content marketing agency and help us continue our growth.

Salary: £40,000-50,000
