About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing team, working at the heart of transformation in financial services.
Having recently secured Series B funding, Copper is expanding its Information Technology function to accommodate the rapid growth the business is currently undergoing.
The role reports directly to the Head of Information Technology but with a close working relationship with the Information Security Architect and Chief Information Security Officer.
Job Summary:
Set up, administration, and maintenance of computer systems; install and configure hardware, software, and network infrastructure, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, ensure the security of IT infrastructure, ongoing maintenance and administration of the Microsoft 365 / Azure platform.
With Copper being a relatively new company, there is an opportunity to create some good foundations and input and shape the day-to-day operational tasks for the role.
System Administrator Role:
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users may encounter.
- Deploy software, create user groups and operating system policies across the entire IT network.
- Install, configure and maintain software, hardware, network and application components of the IT systems.
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and networking issues.
- Ensuring proper and secure storage, backup and retrieval of data.
- Replacing and upgrading outdated or defective components.
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests.
- Provide escalation support to the Service Desk.
- Strong skills in Desktop Management for Windows and Apple using MDM products.
Although Copper is Cloud first, applicants with strong enterprise and more traditional local Domain skills will not be discounted if there is an aptitude to learn.
