Project Manager | Norwich |£40k – £45k| 40 Hours

Are you currently working, or have working experience with local authorities for Civil Engineering and or Construction?

Directly been responsible for providing project management support to your Director?

I am currently working with a Project Management company based in the heart of Norwich who are looking to expand their extremely successful team.

In this role the type of experience we would be looking for would be:

• Further education in regards to Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction
• Successful delivery of end-to-end construction or engineering projects
• Relevant project management or equivalent professional qualification
• Leadership and line management experience
• Professional or Chartered status
• Local to Norwich or willing to relocate within the UK

The type of Competence, Knowledge & Skills ideally suited for this position:

• Knowledge of designer’s responsibilities under CDM
• Strong understanding of Contract Administration and management under NEC4 and JCT Contracts
• Familiarity with Primavera 6
• Strong IT Skills
• In depth knowledge of procurement practices
• Demonstrable experience of statutory procedures. Contract preparation and planning and funding bids
• Working knowledge of RIBA stages 1-7
• Sound knowledge of financial planning, budget monitoring and construction cost control
• CAD Experience
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques such as Building Information Modelling (BIM)
