Reporting to the Regional HR Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your skills and experience while partnering with Engineering and corporate functions of the business for a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover).
You will be joining a high-performing HR team where you can establish positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the business. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in a range of HR activities as well as the ability to work in a confidential and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the delivery of HR services including recruitment, onboarding, induction, performance review process and exiting process for Engineering and corporate departments
- Prove advice and support to leadership in employee relations matter including performance management and grievances, as well as interpreting organisational policy and enterprise agreement
- Collaborate and support the HR team in delivery of HR projects and strategy
- Provide support to employees and leadership with general HR enquiries
Qualifications:
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge and proven experience understanding employee legislation
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment practices, experience in recruiting engineering positions highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail as well as organisation and time management skills
- Be able to manage and prioritise own workload and use initiative
- Highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to interact professionally and develop strong working relationships with people at all levels of the organisation
- An understanding of the importance of Confidentiality and abiding by it is essential
- Advanced Microsoft skills required (outlook, excel and word)
