Bookkeeper/HR Coordinator

Cook County Whole Foods Co-op in Grand Marais, MN needs you! We currently have an opening for a Bookkeeper who would also take on HR duties to ensure employee support and Co-op compliance. This is full-time with some flexibility to choose your regular work hours. This position performs all accounting functions including AR/AP, payroll, preparation of financial reports, and handling billing questions from vendors and customers. The Human Resources function would include benefits program administration, leave management, and assisting with recruitment and on-boarding of new staff. This position requires a HS diploma or GED; 2 year degree and 2+years in an accounting role, and experience with QuickBooks and payroll processing is preferred. Benefits administration and recruitment experience is strongly desired. The Co-op offers a variety of benefits for its employees, including company paid health insurance, PTO, profit sharing, IRA and generous store discounts. Starting wage is $20.50.
