Remote Scheduling Agent III – Imaging Services
Convergence Telehealth is currently recruiting full and part-time remote Scheduling Agents with a passion for delivering a high quality customer experience, to support our clients. As a Scheduling Agent III, you will coordinate imaging tests for patients and work directly with patients, physicians, and insurance companies on a daily basis. Shift is 8 hours within the window of 7:30 am – 5 pm PST (10:30 am – 8 pm EST) Monday – Friday – no holidays or weekend work. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- 2+ years of experience
- Knowledge of general medical terminology
PREFERRED
- Previous experience in Radiology or Central Scheduling
- Hospital or physician office setting experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish is not necessary, but is a plus
- Cerner and Fuji system experience
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedules patients for treatment and diagnostic procedures in electronic scheduling system in accordance with pre-defined templates/protocols
- Handles insurance verification and prior authorizations
- Confirm and update patient demographics and medical insurance information
- Coordinate with providers and office staff to ensure scheduling accuracy for complex diagnostic treatments and procedures
- Coordinates special needs and send images to Radiology facility if indicated
- Answer patient scheduling and preparation inquiries related to Imaging Services
