Controlaccount PLC Hiring for Trainee Finance Assistant Job at Bromsgrove, England Full Time

In line with our continuing success and growth Controlaccount Plc are looking for a Trainee Finance Assistant to join the busy Finance department at our canal side offices in Stoke Prior Bromsgrove.

The successful applicant will receive full study support through training towards AAT qualifications after completion of their probationary period.

The role will entail

• Posting payments on our in-house system, through imports and manual procedures.
• Taking card payments from clients.
• Processing card Payments.
• Reconciliation and posting of payments for multiple bank statements.
• Sales – sending out invoices
• Remittance – the production of client remittances on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Reconciliation – identification and reconciliation of unallocated payments
• Refunds – Processing refunds
• Opening of the company Post and going to the bank

Further duties may be requested on an ad hoc basis

Skill Requirements

Essential

• Educated to GCSE standard
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel

Desirable

• Able to demonstrate a desire to succeed and develop
• A general understanding of accounting procedures
• High levels of energy, commitment to learning
• Customer focussed

Job Type

Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Meets NMW rates
