Our client, a well established and reputable Civil Engineering Main Contractor with an annual turnover of £100 million, are looking to recruit a Site Manager to join their civil engineering team in Ellesmere Port. A recent run of successful project wins in the North of England has resulted in them looking to expand and grow their existing team in order to deliver the additional workload.
As the Site Manager covering projects largely across Ellesmere Port and the North of England, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the company in the region. It will be key for you to ensure that works are delivered in line with programme and on budget. Due to the seniority and responsibility of the role you will have proven experience of managing various Civil Engineering projects.
As a Site Manager your responsibilities will include:
• HSEQ
• Liaising with existing and new clients
• Work within programmes and budgets
• Site personnel management
• Commercial management
• Reports and record keeping
Essential requirements:
• Educated to a degree or HNC level in a relevant civil engineering discipline.
• Proven experience of managing various Civil Engineering projects.
• Possess an extensive level of technical knowledge, understanding, control and responsibility for all civils site activities.
• Be a pro-active communicator,
• Full UK driver’s license.
