Contract Scotland Looking for Site Engineer at Bonnybridge Full Time

Our client, a well-known civil engineering contractor, is looking to expand their team by appointing a Site Engineer on a permanent basis, taking on responsibility for setting out and surveying on a variety of civil infrastructure related contracts including groundworks on commercial and residential projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior or Graduate Site Engineer, with 2-3 years’ experience, to join a well-established civil engineering contractor where you will work in a friendly environment.

With a healthy, growing workload across the east of Scotland, you’ll have the opportunity to work on infrastructure projects. Projects will range from smaller public works through to larger housing schemes and community centres.

As site engineer you will be responsible for:
• Setting out for construction works
• Ensuring the project is delivered safely adhering to strict health and safety procedures
• Liaison with the project manager and site manager
• Administration and recording keeping of Quality Assurance systems on-site

Applicants must have the following:
• Minimum of HNC level qualification or equivalent in civil engineering
• Previous civil engineering experience in a contracting environment is essential
• Valid CSCS
• A full UK driving license
