Contract Scotland Looking for Geo-Environmental Engineer at Glasgow Full Time

A specialist Engineering Consultancy is looking to grow their Geo-Environmental team in Glasgow. A sustained increase in workload in 2021 has created spaces for at least 2 new Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their team.

They are looking to recruit Geo-Environmental Engineers ideally within 1 to 5 years experience albeit applications are also very welcome from Senior Engineers with more experience.

Responsibilities will include;

• Regular liaison with clients and 3rd party stakeholders to determine brief and scope of work and to meet agreed milestones
• Undertaking Phase 1 Desk Study Reporting and Phase 2 Site Investigation Reporting
• Manage site investigations and prepare expert technical advice/guidance to clients
• Carry out site visits/inspections throughout the construction phase, providing continuing technical assistance as necessary on a range of projects including mine reclamation and contaminated land remediation

To apply you should be able to demonstrate the following;

• Minimum of degree level qualification in geology/earth sciences, environmental engineering or civil engineering.
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Geo-Environmental Engineering role within either a consultancy or contractor environment
• Excellent client-facing skills as an ability to produce high quality written reports
• A UK Driving License
