The posted salary range reflects the base rate up to A2 Max; actual compensation may be higher in accordance with the collective agreement, considering years of experience and QECO classification.
In accordance with the OECTA Collective Agreement, the Board shall identify the three (3) most senior applicants to the position who hold the required qualifications for the position, to be interviewed.
If no qualified occasional teacher applies, or if all qualified applicants decline the interview, the Board shall consider external qualified applicants who are not on the occasional teacher roster.
The Board shall access and review the information contained in an applicant’s portfolio for hiring purposes. Applicants are encouraged to ensure their portfolio is current and contains all relevant information, including information about Additional Qualifications that are not currently listed on your Certificate of Qualification as issued by the Ontario College of Teachers.

About Us
The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board offers a Christ-centered education to over 13,000 students from Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk counties, the City of Brantford, Six Nations of the Grand River and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. The district has approximately 2,100 full and part-time staff committed to supporting Belonging, Teaching and Learning, and Wellness for all. We currently have 29 elementary schools, 3 secondary schools and a multisite Alternative Education school, and 3 administrative offices. We are unique in that we belong to three Dioceses: Hamilton, London, and St. Catharines. We are located within a one-hour radius of Toronto to the east, London to the west, and Kitchener-Waterloo to the north.
