Contract Furnishings Mart Hiring for Web/e-Commerce Specialist Full Time

Contract Furnishings Mart is looking to add to our administrative team a new e-Commerce/Web Specialist position to take ownership and drive business forward determining our needs and how to best improve and succeed going forward.

The e-Commerce/Web Specialist serves as the primary contact and ownership for all on-line customer queries, the customer e-commerce experience, handling a range of responsibilities that may include web design and development, routine site and content maintenance and various updates to ensure site(s) align with the goals and objectives of the company.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Serves as the primary contact for all aspects of the organizations website(s).
• Supports all customer inquiries as they are submitted
• Creates and maintains internal and external website(s) in collaboration with web developers.
• Reviews web content, links and design, provides necessary updates and enhancements in a timely manner.
• Develops, implements, and maintains our e-commerce platform’s content publishing in collaboration with cross functional teams.
• Produce, process and organize the transfer of web site images from outside vendors to drive quality and ensure an impressive online customer experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
• Excellent communication skills both on the phone, email and in person with a customer care mindset.
• Maintain and build positive relationships with our team, customers, external vendors and suppliers for back-end design, development and SEO and security.
• Maintain technical requirements to continue to develop and enhance the ecommerce platform.
• Identify and useful site-specific metrics to track and analyze data.
• Manage and resolve usability issues and on e-commerce performance and presents ideas on future planning and improvement optimization.
• Be able to work with autonomy as well as collaborate on a team.
• Stay abreast of changes and innovations in the e-commerce and digital industry.
• Assists employees with the use of company websites through one-on-one support, user guides and possible training sessions.
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the company and operational needs.

Required Skills, abilities and experience:

• Experience with Big Commerce preferred but not necessary.
• Proficient with HTML/CSS and other programming language.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Experience in digital media, e-commerce, web design and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
