Vehicle Network Topology:
 Design networks based on Bentley specific requirements.

 Validate and signoff the whole vehicle network topology per Bentley project.

 Design and supervise, network simulation of the physical layer.

 Design and supervise, network testing of the physical layer.

 Provide technical support to resolve network related issues.

 Validate and signoff the vehicle architecture, for all Bentley projects.

 Provide technical guidance to harness teams in manufacturing and pre-series.

 Analyse and signoff network topology reports.

Networks Test and Validation:
 Design and supervise, network testing of the application layer.

 Provide technical support to resolve network and software related issues.

 Review and approve all new network signal requests, for all Bentley projects.

 Define, manage and review all network signal databases and routing matrix’s.

 Define and validate network wake, sleep and power management functions.

 Create new CAN, CAN-FD, LIN,100Base-T1, 1000Base-T1 and Flex Ray signal requests.

 Create new ASIL ‘A’ and ‘D’ network signals.

 Analyse and signoff network test reports.

 Be the key knowledge holder for any network related

issues which include:
o Messages and signals

o Network Routing

o Wake up and sleep network management / Network Power management

o Partial networking

o Logging

o XCP

Diagnostics Harness Design and Validation:
 Design vehicle diagnostics harness for engineering department.

 Interface with harness team for manufacturing and signoff.

Single ECU Test and Validation:
 Organise and supervise single ECU tests and resolve network and software issues.

 Analyse and signoff single ECU test reports.

Technical Guidance:
 New Technologies, Networks, ECUs

 Integrate all new functions or ECUs on to the network via planning and design reviews.

 Interface with various departments pre-series, engineering, manufacturing, production.

Technical Support for the following:
 Data loggers, Network/Software Issues, Hardware Issues, Network Topologies.

 Provide technical support to the networks and architecture teams

 Create canoe simulations and gateway nodes, for manipulating real network signals.

 Create network test nodes with automated test scripts, to validate network functions

Qualifications

Good working knowledge of the following tools and software’s:
Vector Canoe, Canape, DBC editor, Fibex editor, Autosar editor.

Pico Scope, TTech Loggers, GIN Loggers, ETAS, INCA, CSM Modules, OTA telematics, Diagnostic Tools, PREEvision, Wireshark, Docker, Sublime, Eclipse, VS code,

In-depth working knowledge of the following networks:
CAN Classical, CAN-FD, Flex Ray, LIN 2.0, CAN XCP, Flex Ray XCP, RS 232, USB, 100base-Tx, 100base-T1, 1000base-T1, BAP, SOME IP, Serial, SENT, DOIP,

In-depth working knowledge of the following specifications:
 Autosar classic, Autosar adaptive,

 End to End encryption specifications

 Flex Ray physical layer application notes V2.1 Rev B,
