Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Field Support person will provide site level support for the Human Resources function in a professional and efficient manner that contributes to organisational effectiveness and efficiency, promoting the company’s standards and values. This role will have a particular focus on recruitment, onboarding and induction of new staff to ensure new staff are successful at the site.

This role is responsible for:

• End to end recruitment – interviewing, selection, onboarding, induction
• Provide basic HR advice, interpretation, and guidance to key stakeholders around policy, award interpretation, and HR-related matters.
• Assist employees with queries and resolve issues
• Prepare employment contracts and contract variations
• Compile and develop monthly metrics reporting across HR as required
• Prepare resignation acceptance letters, abandonment of employment letters, and send exit interviews
• Manage employee probation and off-boarding process
• Drive company values to promote a positive culture and engaged workforce

To ensure your success, you will possess the following.

• 1 – 2 years proven experience in an HR administrative/coordinator role in the hospitality field
• Understanding of Fair Work Act, NES, and interpretation of the Hospitality (General) awards
• Recruitment, onboarding and induction of new staff experience
• Unsupervised Contact Police Check
• Right to work in Australia
