OVERVIEW

ContainerWest Group is looking for an energetic, organized individual with great people skills to join our interactive team at the head office in Richmond. You will contribute to our organization by delivering superior customer service to drive sales and support business growth.

THE COMPANY

ContainerWest is a group of companies. We operate several storage facilities and yards, a rental fleet, and a manufacturing plant. Our products and services revolve around steel shipping containers. Most of our products and services are B2B with some sales direct to consumer. We have locations in BC and Alberta.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. A typical week would consist of the following tasks:

– Proactively seek new business opportunities by engaging with new leads

– Establish professional long-term relationships with clients and look for potential opportunities

– Maintain and grow an existing customer database

– Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services

– Answer phones, respond to emails and website requests

– Follow up on leads and ask for the order

– Show self-storage units to walk-in customers

– Enter orders and process payments

– Prepare sales and rental agreements

– Conduct product and market research

– Assist with administrative tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

– Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written

– Must be enthusiastic, positive and energetic

– Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

– Have excellent computer skills and typing speed

– Fluent in English, both verbal and written

EXPERIENCE

– Minimum 1 years of sales experience

– Minimum 1 years of experience in an office environment with Microsoft Office suite

EDUCATION

– Post-secondary education

9am – 5:30pm

Monday to Friday
