Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for driving Wine and Spirits DTC strategies as envisioned function and operating business partners within the segment. This individual will be accountable for partnering with various levels of leadership teams in proving expertise and guidance as business needs change throughout the planning and forecasting process, with direct accountability for overall DTC budget and ultimately drive a more efficient cost structure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce monthly financial statements, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting to senior management.
Report weekly to the executive leadership with insightful commentary.
Lead, manage, and develop long-range planning process (LRP), annual operating plan process (AOP), business planning, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis for all components of DTC revenue.
Provide ad hoc reports and financial modeling for specific asks and questions raised
Provide data on trends and forecasts to senior management. Assist in competitive segment evaluations to identify trends and patterns and the financial impact of potential opportunities and future strategic initiatives.
Leverage financial and syndicated data to drive insights and actions on performance and market potential
Partner with cross-functional teams to make data simple, accessible, and actionable
Develop and maintain financial models used for planning and strategic decision making such as pricing, channel, digital marketing investment and contribution margin analysis for DTC channel (eCommerce, wine club, etc).
Work closely with cross-functions Sales, Marketing and R&D on DTC long range channel and go-to-market strategy
Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
Manage the day-to-day KPIs, inventory performance, inventory utilization, pricing, and revenue.
Build and maintain strong relationships between W&S operational functions (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.), Corporate Accounting, and the centrally managed FP&A team
Lead education on above the line, below the line and related eCommerce and digital investments, P&L tracking etc.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree: preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting
M.B.A. Finance/Business concentration, prefered
8-12 years combined experience in financial planning, reporting, operations or commercial finance.
Proficiency with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) or similar Business Intelligence financial systems preferred
Advanced Excel abilities (Nested statements, pivot tables, charting, combining functions like Index Match, Offset and Indirect).
Intermediate data analytics, experience in SQL reporting, Snowflake, or similar tools.
Project Management Experience a plus
Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)
Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate micro details into a broader summary for different levels of management.
Proficiency with building financial models
Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
Effective manager who leads by example and will mentor a team to meet strategic objectives.
Travel requirement: up to 10% including domestic and possible international locations
