Investor Reporting/Accounting SME

**Knowledge of cash handling, remittance, etc., a plus!

**Contract, remote role

Duties:

• Work closely with the Investor Reporting & Accounting Teams performing routine reporting, remittance, and reconciliation of investor accounts.

• Reviewing, researching and resolving variances in Investor Reporting utilizing internal and external systems/reports.
• Review monthly investor reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare reports in compliance with reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Communicate with Veteran Administration, GSE’s and Private Investors to resolve reporting issues.
• Prepare and submit daily/monthly remittances on assigned Investor portfolios following the remittance deadlines.
• Analyze data, research issues and exceptions and make appropriate changes as necessary.

Required Skills:

• General understanding of multifunctional mortgage servicing department.
• Thorough knowledge of investor guidelines as they relate to investor reporting.
• Ability to write routine correspondence.
• Ability to think and work independently and make appropriate decisions.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks through effective prioritization and time management and demonstrate attention to details.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation abilities.

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of banking or finance experience performing analysis or loan servicing.
• Mortgage servicing experience preferred.
