Conrad Consulting Ltd Looking for Structural Engineer at Leeds, West Yorkshire Full Time

Conrad Consulting are pleased to be working with a successful firm of civil, structural and geotechnical engineers that due to continued growth are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Structural Engineer to join them in their Leeds office on a full time, permanent basis.

The successful Structural Engineer will assist them in working on the design of a range of structural engineering projects which will be predominantly in the north of England but may occasionally include sites across the UK. Experience in the design of both new build projects and some refurbishment projects is required.

Projects: Commercial, Industrial, health, leisure, retail and residential sectors

Requirements:

• A degree in civil or structural engineering,
• Working towards Chartered status,
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a UK consultancy,
• Capability to work independently or with the design team,
• Knowledge and understanding of current technical standards.
• A working knowledge of the Eurocodes and Finite Element Analysis is essential,
• Proficient in the design of all major structural materials and possess a sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety and legal regulations,
• Good experience in the use of AutoCAD
• Previous experience in dealing with clients and architects.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
