Conrad Consulting Ltd Looking for Senior Structural Engineer at Glasgow Full Time

Our client is offering a Senior Structural Engineer the opportunity to work on a large defence project that is scheduled to last for at least the next 7 years with the option of a 3-year extension.

The framework will see the consultancy delivery specialist nuclear technical services in up to £400M in value to support DIO, Navy Command, and various MOD organisations.

As an experienced Structural Engineer, you will join an expanding central Glasgow office that is close to various major transport links.

Although the role is aimed at Structural Engineers based within Glasgow/Central belt the role offers a modern working approach that will be tailored to the needs of the individual and their schedules, allowing you to work 100% from home if you wished.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful delivery of design projects across various sectors such as Defence, Education, Commercial and Residential within the UK.

The office offers design and engineering services such as decommissioning redundant nuclear facilities to supporting the continuous sea deterrent. The company play a leading role within some of the UKs most complex and challenging engineering projects that frequently exceed £400M.

There is a clear career pathway to Associate and Director level and beyond with continuous support, mentoring and industry leading training (ICE accredited company)

KEY EXPEREICNE

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Chartered or near chartered level
• Proven track record in engineering design delivery
• Sound commercial understanding of consultancy business
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Security clearance is required (this can be arranged by the business)

ON OFFER

• £45,000 – £50,000
• Option to work 100% from home
• 25 days annual holiday excluding bank holidays
• Up to 7% pension
• Recession proofed project pipeline
