Conrad Consulting Ltd Looking for Highways CAD Technician at Stockport, Greater Manchester Full Time

We are currently working with an established and successful multidisciplinary consultancy to help them find a talented Highways CAD Technician to join the bridges and highways team in their Stockport office on a full time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of challenging highway structures and rail projects for public and private sector clients and will have a ‘hands on’ approach and the ability to apply professional engineering knowledge and skills to the design of projects.

Responsibilities:

• The preparation of highway feasibility drawings,
• Detailed drawings, contract documents / specifications.

Requirements:

• A minimum of an HNC in civil engineering,
• Experience of working in a highways design office/team, typically with a minimum of three years practical experience,
• A working knowledge of the DMRB and current relevant design standards/codes is essential,
• Strong attention to detail.
