Our client is an established Civil & Structural engineering consultancy with offices throughout the south west of England. We are helping them to find a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join their Plymouth office on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be working with and supporting the civil structural engineering teams on a wide range of projects.

Projects: Residential, Commercial, Cultural and more.

Requirements:

• A relevant degree,
• A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience within the ground engineering secto
• Soil and rock logging skills
• A good understanding of the health, safety and welfare of yourself and others
• Experience of scheduling geotechnical testing of soil and rock,
• Experience in the preparation of Preliminary Sources Studies (desk studies),
• Clear, polite written and oral communication skills,
• A collaborative approach to work,
• Integrity and a caring approach to others,
• A commitment to continued professional development.
