Conrad Consulting Ltd Looking for Civil Technician at Glasgow Full Time

An experienced Civil Infrastructure Technician is desired by one of the largest employee-owned engineering firms in the country.

Within this role you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range and size of projects as a Civil Infrastructure Technician, including but not limited leisure, education, retail, commercial, and residential projects with values ranging from £50,000 to several million.

Working under minimal supervision and reporting directly to two additional Senior Civil Technicians, you will be utilising your creative skills whilst learning and developing your career.

Although a modern, hybrid working style is a genuine option, Senior Civil Technicians want to have all fresh faces in the office as possible so that hands-on support can be offered as needed and synergy amongst all Civil Technicians can be established more easily.

INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITES

• Production of infrastructure design and detailing of roads, drainage, site levels and ground modelling
• The designs will be created using AutoCAD, PDS modelling and Mircodrainage
• Undertake detailing to Technical Approval submission standards for Roads and Drainage Consents
• Liaise with other design team members to achieve fluid and co-ordinated design
• Occasionally take a design lead when required

YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

• HNC in Civil Engineering
• Experience within the construction industry
• Strong working knowledge of design software packages
• Excellent communication and numerical skills
• Familiar with Revit
