Our client, an established civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Kent is seeking a first rate Chartered Structural engineer to join their office in Rochester. The successful candidate will be an innovative engineer who thrives on challenges and will have a broad range of experience including temporary works, site surveys and design checks.

Requirements:

• A degree in civil or structural engineering,
• A Chartered engineer with ICE or IStructE or near chartered,
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience,
• Ability and experience in taking responsibility for projects,
• Confident client-facing and communication skills,
• Excellent report writing skills,
• Own transport is essential.

An in-depth knowledge of the building process is vital as the successful Chartered Structural Engineer will work on schemes from concept to completion.

Excellent communication skills are therefore a must, as you will be going out to meet clients, attend site meetings and dealing with other teams. Your knowledge, motivation and initiative will win you this role.
