Conrad Connect are pleased to be supporting a growing business based on the outskirts of Great Totham who are looking for a technically skilled Software Developer to develop and maintain my client’s systems, software and computing infrastructure.

This position is available as a hybrid position with a split between office and home working being available (3 days office and 2 days home)

The successful candidate will have strong coding skills, excellent communication, good task management experience, and excellent problem-solving abilities. Having had previous experience in a relevant discipline you will also have specific skills and experience with a deep understanding of data ETL, web technologies and dot net framework.

Due to my client’s location access to a vehicle will be required as they are based in a rural location with no public transport but do have free parking.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Managing systems performance
• Providing tech support to the overall business as required
• Reviewing, and updating existing programs
• Identifying and fixing defects
• Supporting data architecture
• Generating reports for senior management team
• Developing in-house software
• Coding and debugging
• Designing and testing computer structures
• Troubleshooting system errors
• Writing computer instructions
• Managing database systems
• Editing source-code
• Providing tech support
• Report / Dashboard Creation

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or computer programming
• End user oriented
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• .net framework, SQL, Javascript / Typescript experience required
• Python, AJAX, PHP and HTML experience is desirable
• Power BI, Report Builder experience is desirable
• Aptitude for learning new technology
• Deadline driven
