• Salary – £29,000 – £32,000 (Full time Equivalent)
• Hours 22 -27 hours a week with 4.5 – 5.5 hours daily with flexibility
• AAT Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience
• Location: Stratford – East London – Office based.

Conrad Connect are pleased to be working with an established family owner managed business in East London who are looking for an experienced Part Time Accounts Assistant to join their team on a Temp to Permanent basis with a Jan 2022 start. The company has successfully traded within the construction sector since the late 70’s and has continued to grow.

They are now looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and willingness to take on an extremely varied accounts role.

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience, with at least three year’s previous accounts experience gained within the construction sector.

This is part time role between 22-27 hours a week starting on a temp to perm basis

Duties:

• Reconciling sales and subcontract ledgers ON Sage Line 50 Professional, resolving queries, and producing weekly reports for management
• Processing CIS and retention figures for subcontractors and sales
• Producing CIS monthly returns and issue monthly statements
• Process all invoicing and financial documentation relating to serviced offices and residential property portfolio
• Obtain attendance details from on-site and off-site for employees and agency staff
• Payroll administration according to experience
• Assist with all Financial administrative duties from the directors and external auditors

The ideal candidate will:

• Have at least three years previous experience in a construction finance/accounting role
• Be confident with Sage Line 50 Professional accounting software
• Have in depth experience using MS Excel and be familiar with MS Outlook
• Be able to manage a diverse workload
• Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
