Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

ing the the Head of Assets & Operations you will lead a team of 30 people responsible for the operations and performance of a major utility network in addition to assisting in the long-term asset strategy. You will provide engineering leadership and control of the network to ensure safety, reliability, integrity and supply capacity are balanced against capital and operating expenditures. This will be achieved through the development and implementation of high quality engineering support for capital projects and field operations, incident planning of the network, ensuring performance expectations are measured and achieved, optimising maintenance plans and developing s that outline risks and new opportunities.

Skills & Experience Required

We are searching for a confident and engaging leader with demonstrable experience in delivering engineering management and overseeing field operations including standards development, asset maintenance and risk management of a large, high value and complex utility network or a major regulated asset base. Having the ability to prioritise, optimise and coordinate workloads you will possess a strong problem solving mindset with good business acumen and understanding of the economic and technical regulatory framework of a large asset network. Finally you will be regarded as an engaging coach and leader who embraces new systems and technologies to improve operational efficiency and continuously identifies new areas for improvement.
