Connext Staffing is currently recruiting for Food Production Workers

• Ability to work overtime when required
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bending, crouching
• A focus on regulations, health and safety
• Ability to stay on task and maintain a consistent workflow
• A positive, energetic work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
• Ensure safe and hygienic practices are applied to all tasks performed

Position Responsibilities:

Handling of raw & packaged poultry and poultry products

• Trimming , grading and preparing product for packaging
• Bagging and sealing of products
• Weighing, sorting, boxing & labelling of product
• Pallet stacking

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Adhere to all company policies, SOP’s, hygienic food safe practices and Worksafe BC requirements in the plant

Help in other departments as required

Work Site Environment:

• Repetitive Tasks with rotations
• Standing for long periods of time
• Refrigerated
• Noisy
• Odors

Relevant Experience: Experience in food manufacturing or working in a fast-paced environment an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
