Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist / Human Resources Generalist is responsible for various functions of the Human Resource department, including talent acquisition, contract negotiations, compensation, ing, onboarding, and administration of company.
Essential Duties:
· Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for all open positions.
· Work closely with hiring managers to understand the needs of their department and any required job openings.
· Schedule and coordinate fingerprinting and background verifications.
· Create new-hire onboarding programs and deliver compelling new-hire orientations.
· Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
· Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates.
· Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employee branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants.
Job Requirements:
1. 2-3 years’ experience in a talent acquisition or similar role.
2. Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
3. Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks.
4. Experience in using LinkedIn, Indeed, Job Target preferred.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
11. Ability to prioritize tasks.
12. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
13. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
14. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
Education Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
· At least 2-3 years of human resource management experience required.
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment primarily but can include construction areas while in the field. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, scanners, etc.

· This is primarily a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stoop, as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to twenty pounds.
· Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
· Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone.
· Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
Supervisory Responsibility:
· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
· Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Regular hours of work vary due to project timelines.
