Confidential Hiring for Systems Administrator at Wilmington, DE Full Time

Qualifications:

Must be an expert in Windows 2019 administration, VMware, using WSUS and other patch engines. Palo Alto firewalls and/or Cortex XDR experience is a big plus.. PureStorage and VMware Horizon experience is a huge plus. Typical day to day items will involve solving issues in a new VDI environment, Profile and home directory issues, working with IT team to plan and rollout systems upgrades, monitoring system performance and resources, acting as backup and extra resource to two other Administrator’s environments, and mentoring junior staff.

Duties to be performed:

1. Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology, and alongside two other Administrators (who support two other environments), this Administrator will be the primary point of responsibility for a new 100+ user Horizon VDI environment (Required experience), it’s infrastructure, support, storage and security.

2. The initial responsibility of this position will be to set up the new Production and DR environment(s).

3. Monthly patching

4. Building and updating VDI images (VMware Horizon) – You MUST have prior VDI experience, no exceptions.

5. Windows Administration

6. VMware administration

7. User account management

8. Quota management

9. GPO administration

10. Hardware and software installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $92,000.00 per year
