Position Overview:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, evolving, and executing social media strategy for our rapidly growing organization.
Candidates for this role must have experience managing all elements of social, including strategy by platform, content calendar development, copywriting, creative development, influencer marketing, ing, and paid amplification. You will work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure strategy and message are aligned to brand and commercial goals, and that assets are engaging and drive MoM performance. You are a collaborative, agile self-starter who is passionate about social media, committed to driving growth, and authentically curious about pop culture and other trends that fuel and inspire timely, relevant social content. You thrive in a fast-paced creative environment and can pivot quickly to optimize initiatives when needed and capitalize on trends and opportunities that arise. Expertise required across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Strategize, organize, and manage execution of monthly, weekly, and daily social media strategy.
· Own day-to-day management of all social media platforms including planning, scheduling, posting and analyzing all content across the platforms.
· Plan and capture needed content across platforms to meet needs. Project manages social media creative needs, ensuring brand assets are in line with other channels.
· Define measurable goals and set benchmarks; deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly performance s to the Social Media Director and leadership.
· Help lead influencer management and seedings to meet brand objectives. This can include influencer identification, negotiating and managing delivery of paid influencer content, developing and managing paid/unpaid influencer seedings, running point on execution and analysis of seedings, etc.
Essential Cross-Functional Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with multiple teams and departments across the organization, representing the Social Team in appropriate meetings and on various projects as needed.
· Manage product launches and key collection focuses with Marketing and Sales teams, to ensure brand priorities and programs are supported.
· Engage in seasonal planning to support retailer marketing initiatives by building social specific strategies with Brand Marketing, Creative, and Sales teams.
Required Skills/ Qualifications:
· Extensive knowledge of major social media platforms and technologies, how to tailor content by platform, what kind of content works best to build new audiences, retain existing ones, and meet specific marketing goals.
Education/ Experience Requirements:
· 3-5 years of professional social media experience (strategy, process, creative, ing).
