A professional fast growing security company covering the St. Louis area is actively seeking a Security Account Manager for a location in St. Charles County.
The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years security officer and/or supervisor experience.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate leading a team of security officers to ensure client training on policy and procedures are carried out in a professional and respectful matter. As well as, the security company’s policies carried out on the client’s account.
Role Responsibility:
– Supervise Officers, to include training, praising, and disciplining officers assigned to the account.
– Inspect security posts on the account to ensure security company and client policies and procedures are followed.
– Understand the security industry and take an active role in making sure all company policies and procedures are followed.
– Investigate and prepare s on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
– Help clients, security officers and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
– Must be comfortable with walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing, following directions.
– Must be comfortable with obtaining an armed security officer license, or currently have one.
– Ensuring all security officers assigned to the location are trained and know how to run our digital ing software for daily logs, incident s, etc.
– Must be comfortable completing armed and protective device training if needed.
– Build a strong professional working relationship with the client, and ensure client post orders and policies are updated as needed, and assigned officers are aware of all changes.
Education, Licenses, Certifications, and other Required:
– Must have two years security or comparable experience.
– Must have access to reliable vehicle for to and from office location. While on duty you will be driving a company vehicle NOT personal vehicle.
– Must have a professional appearance.
– Must have a valid driver’s license.
– Must have working reliable means of communication (cell phone)
– Must be able to pass an extensive background check.
– Must pass a drug test.
– Adherence to uniform dress code policy always.
– Comfortable driving a fleet vehicle while on duty.
Skills Required:
– Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
– Active listening skills.
– Attention to detail.
– Effective time management skills.
– Effective verbal and written communication skills.
– Experienced in computer skills with Microsoft Office and Google Drive Cloud services.
