Proform Group Inc. is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join its Quality Assurance team located in Muskogee OK. This is not a remote position and travel is unlikely.

This is an exempt level position that is paid on a weekly basis. Benefits are offered after the first month of employment. Please see the below detailed description of the position prior to applying.

Position Summary: The Quality Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining documentation tasks within the Quality Management System in a manufacturing environment. Major accountabilities include managing compliance with the QMS document specifications, writing or updating work processes and or work instructions, audit schedule, PPAP documentation process, tracking performance metrics, corrective actions, and managing the quality training matrix.

The ideal candidate will have senior level experience in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System documentation, auditing and performance metric ing, as well as excellent administrative, written and oral communication skills. Experience with IATF 16949, PPAP, APQP and/or PFMEA is a plus.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Must be able to frequently bend, squat, climb stairs and ladders, stand, walk, or sit for long periods. Must be able to handle objects (manual dexterity), push and pull, reach above shoulder level and have fine finger movements. Must be able to carry/lift loads of up to 25 lbs. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be capable of regular and reliable attendance. Must be able to work in an environment that may involve exposure to various elements including but not limited to: chemicals, dust, fumes, cold, heat, noise, vibrations and dampness. PPE of safety glasses, hearing protection in designated areas, safety shoes or boots, are required while working in the plant. COVID protection masks may be required.
