*Must currently be at PMO Director level to be considered
*50% travel to Tampa office for collaboration
We are looking for someone who currently leads a PMO as a Director or Sr. Manager with a staff or Sr. PM’s greater than 10 ee’s.
This PMO Director will already have extensive experience leading a PMO, with PMO Managers ing to her/him, and will manage and mentor team members, assess and manage resource loads, and drive organizational effectiveness and accountability. This Director also facilitates planning, prioritization, and collaboration between internal PMO groups, maintaining excellent communication with all levels of management and clients, and developing and enforcing efficient and effective methods and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Governance, Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Resource Management, Change Management, while managing a team of up to 20 PM staff, in addition to:
· Ensure that all projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and negotiates changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines
· Collaborate with functional areas in the supervision of project personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions
· Lead PMO Managers and team members to conduct project audits in coordination with Finance.
· Conducts project reviews with Senior Leadership of the company, including planned vs actual for project cost, schedule, budget, and milestone progress
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
· Eight (8) years’ experience in a PMO leadership role at a Director level. Senior level Project or Program Managers will not be considered. We need proven staff leadership and PMO strategy experience.
· Proven experience leading and managing PMO teams, setting strategic goals, and overseeing the successful execution of projects. This Director will have proven career experience overseeing the successful execution of projects, developing project management standards, and leading a PMO
· Health Plan/Health Insurance experienced: Strong knowledge of Health Plan Operations, including an understanding of healthcare software systems, regulations, and industry trends, is crucial for effectively managing our projects.
· EST East Coast time zone Client and Customer support capable. We are a B2B software company.
Education/Certification
· Bachelor’s Degree
· PMP or other Project Management certification preferred
