Confidential Hiring for Part-Time or Full-Time Bookkeeper/Accountant/Tax Preparer Job at Remote Full Time

Hello!

Our company is a small, full-service virtual tax and accounting firm, looking for a full charge bookkeeper/accountant/tax preparer to join our team. We ask that you are able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week but can work up to 40.

Since the position is remote, and we may be in different time zones, you are free to work as your schedule permits. There will be 1 day per week where you will have a virtual “check in” through Zoom where we will review your open work and address any client issues. Aside from the weekly check in, we use Karbon for practice management where we communicate regularly.

Your recurring work would vary depending on the needs of the client that you are working with. The services we provide are:

1- Historical GL clean-up (It would be helpful if you knew how to use Excel)

2- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

3- Month End Close for monthly clients (Bank Rec, Preparation of Financials: P&L and Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

4- Payroll Processing

5- New Entity registration, S Corp Elections, DBA Registration, Annual Report Filing

6- Federal Tax filing (1040,1065,1120,1120-S, 1041, 990 etc) and State Tax filing (sales tax, property tax, etc)

Most of our clients use QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping, and we use Intuit’s Proconnect for tax filing.

We do not provide hardware, but we do provide any software that you need including anti-virus and VPN.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
