Confidential Hiring for Finance Assistant Job at Spartanburg, SC Full Time

Purpose of role

• To assist with the accurate processing of all invoices.
• To assist with the timely process of payroll
• To assist with the timely reports to internal and external customers
• To provide general support to the Finance Manager.

Main responsibilities

Account Receivables:

• Enter and process invoices to customer
• Work up T&M cost worksheets as needed by the Project Managers
• Maintain job files in archive boxes and electronically media
• Close jobs after instruction from Project Managers.
• Collections by contacting customers with statements and phone calls
• Maintaining Sales Report
• Setup New jobs in ERP system and Payroll system
• Other items as the need arises

Payroll:

• Processing weekly payrolls from start to finish to ensure accurate delivery of salary payments to all US employees using our third-party payroll portal
• Checking all incoming documents to establish their validity prior to processing.
• Producing and distributing all reports for upper management
• Maintaining all payroll associated records such as holiday pay, sick pay, court orders, loan deductions, garnishments, etc.
• Checking and getting approval for expense claims through Finance manager, prior to payment by Finance.
• Completing/assisting with third-party inquiries from outside bodies. Ex. employment verification, mortgage references, etc.
• Producing internal reports and data using in house systems to provide accurate management information on a regular basis
• Filing
• Other items such as the need arises

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
