The Finance and Accounting Manager manages the daily financial activities and functions for our fiscal department. The Finance and Accounting Manager will ensure all financial operations are in compliance with governmental rules and regulations. The manager will forecast and manage a cash flow that meets the needs of the company. They will provide guidance to other managers in financial reporting objectives and standards to ensure accurate, compliant, and useful financial reporting is produced. The Manager will oversee the budget process and will work with other leaders to produce effective budgets.

The Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for the following:

• Working with other members of the accounting department to compile, analyze, and report financial data.
• Making journal or ledger entries.
• Preparing weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports and budgets.
• Assisting with tax preparation, audits, and identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Calculate and report monthly commissions
• Manage purchasing department and prepare monthly vendor expense and inventory analysis
• Support business development team with review of opportunities and generation of proposals
• Implementing and enforcing financial and inventory control
• Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting, and financial regulations.
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Provide oversight to junior level team members

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field.

Experience

2-3 years of experience in similar position as Accounting. Experience in Finance will be an added value.
