A young family of three (1 kid), looking to add an experienced Nanny/Educator to their team! Mom and Dad are home fulltime, engaged in work, personal projects and most importantly, a healthy lifestyle. As a family, they love to travel, learn, cook, create together and challenge eachother. Annually, the family travels the greater half of the year, yet expose themselves to new culture and experiences year round. They believe that each moment is a teachable moment and therefore etiquette, courtesy, and behavior-shaping are a part of the daily interaction and general education within the home. It is the parents goal to find an Educator who’s beliefs and intentions align with their own!

An Ideal Candidate would be a Scholar at heart with extensive Nanny experience and knowledge. An individual whom has a speciality in classic arts, music, science, nature and/or langauage is preferred, but a strong passion for the outdoors, creativity, academics, and the ability to mentor an incredibly bright little personality in each, is required. It is the parents goal to educate through engaging, imaginative activities, using nature/everyday items as tools and “toys” while narrating a creative story or game to further development of a childs mind and body. Must be an animal lover, who’s not afraid to get dirty, but also practices strong hygiene and cleanliness! A healthy lifestyle is important, both body and mind! It is important our new team member is an effective communicator, open to constructive critique and embraces new/reccuring challenges or change. The parents believe the perfect candidate would have and maintain a personal life of activities, hobbies and growth outside of work life.

COMPENSATION: $30-$35 Hour *Paid Time Off and Holidays negotiable.

SCHEDULE: Full time (Mon-Fri | 7am-5pm), for travel(including international), on-call most nights/weekends and some holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in daily care and support of a 1 year old. Such as; diaper changing, meal prep & feed, dishes, laundry, organization, cleaning and more.
• Provide constant supervision and safety for the child
• Organize engaging and challenging activities, lessons, and experiences according to a provided curriculum.
• Support cognitive, emotional, and conscious behavioral development
• Administer proper boundaries and circumstantial discipline
• Occassionaly run errands on an as needed basis.
• Multi Tasking
• House Keeping
• Meal Prepping
• Miscellaneous related tasks as required and requested by the family/team members.

Qualifications:

• Pass Background Check
• Valid and Clean Driver’s License
• Current Passport
• Current First Aid & CPR Certified
• Able Bodied *Can lift 40lbs
• Flexible Availability
• Self & Social Awareness
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children with hands-on daily care (5 Years Min) **Child Care degree or certification Preferred
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children in an educational setting **Teaching degree or certification preferred
• A sound understanding of early developmental milestones (motor, sensory, communication)
• Willingness and passion to continue professional development
• Strong command of English language; both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
