We are looking for a capable, caring and thoughtful individual to join our organization as an Early Childhood Teacher. The ideal candidate will be able to establish and maintain effective classroom environments from a very young age, and will facilitate the transition in learning from preschool to kindergarten. The successful candidate will require a background in child-to-child teaching, classroom management strategies and qualify for competitive earnings.

• Allow children to explore and learn on their own.
• Practice effective communication and listening skills.
• Work under pressure, often with no warning and without prior preparation.
• Manage and work with a wide range of people with different backgrounds and views.
• Possess a broad, up-to-date knowledge base of age-appropriate activities; use this knowledge to enhance their daily interactions with children; and engage in ongoing learning.
• Deal with varying degrees of frustration, anger, fear, sadness, disappointment, happiness and love in children as well as in adults who are working alongside them or caring for them.
• Work well within a team setting.

Pay: $14.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
