Confidential Hiring for Director, Outbound Sales at Woodland Hills, CA Full Time

We are looking for a proven experienced Director of Outbound Sales with a solid history of driving growth in a fast paced environment. The Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a 100 + person sales team that serves as the starting point for all outbound and chat sales leads. The successful candidates will be an expert in direct to consumer sales industry and will have a client-centric focus and an ability to manage up. Duties will include direct management of the existing solid management team and working closely with them to ensure an accurate and effective quality of outbound sales leads. The director will also create and perform an outbound strategy, pipeline forecasting, tool management, and future growth planning. Their entrepreneurship leadership will directly assist the company to exceed annual sales goals. We are seeking an individual who is a self-starter, who encourages team development and provides mentorship to promote growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build predictable and repeatable outbound sales funnel processes and best practices across multiple teams.
• Effectively hire, coach, and lead managers, supervisors, and consultants.
• Own, solidifying and scaling the sales process.
• Ensure we are executing outbound lead qualification from many channels with integrity and in a highly efficient manner
• Develop and execute effective strategies to close customers.
• Coordinate training of new and existing consultants
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the outbound/chat teams including strategies-including live coaching and mentoring, call statistics, conversions, and pipeline build
• Develop consistent best practices and processes to ensure continuity of customer/prospect research, active prospecting, campaign follow up, messaging, tool utilization and success criteria/measurement.
• Own outbound/chat agents, performance metrics and KPIs; Conduct performance reviews and development plans
• Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to improve the skill set and productivity of the team
• Optimize efficiency and effectiveness of pipeline generation activities.
• Work cross functionally with Marketing teams to drive towards the ultimate goal of generating revenue
• Set ambitious revenue targets and create detailed plans to deliver, prioritizing efforts for maximum impact on customer and business expansion outcomes.
• Build and optimize compensation plans
• Establish and execute against KPI metrics (targets, goals, and/or strategic objectives) set in tandem with leadership
• Educate and inform leadership on campaign performance, and industry trends.
• Focus on conversion optimization strategies, leveraging best practices, and constantly testing ways to improve conversion rates.
• Monitor Emerging trends, platforms, and formats an adjust strategy accordingly
• Build and launch integrated marketing campaigns that leverage intent data, social media, email marketing, direct mail, advertising, and events to reach the right buyers at the right time.
• Build and execute end-to-end demand programs to move prospects through the marketing funnel
• Setup pipeline coverage strategies that will solve future needs

Responsibility is to ensure your Managers/Supervisors are:

• Documenting all issues/concerns regarding employee issues and maintaining accurate employee records
• Handling escalated issues with the highest level of customer service to ensure customers are satisfied
• Handling payroll and time off issues with the highest level of accuracy
• Closely monitoring the performance of each agent and providing positive feedback and discipline when warranted.
• Handling resignations and terminations properly and following all required steps
• Supporting and finding ways to support staff to overcome sales “objections” and close the sale
• Monitoring daily sales numbers, call handling statistics and agent productivity
• Evaluating agents to identify performance gaps, recommend/schedule additional training if needed

Other Responsibilities:

• Provide Managers with tools, ideas, and resources to effectively mentor, coach and improve individual performances
• Approve disciplinary action for all agents, regarding sub-par performance in any area of employee expectations
• Complete tasks assigned by management.
• Recommend and present changes to streamline workflow to ensure we are all working smarter

Qualification:

• 5-10 years outbound sales success, preferably in a high growth company
• 5+ years of leadership experience, with experience leading and developing a sales team
• BA/BS Degree
• Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), CRM, Power BI
• Knowledge of AI, Chat GPT and Auto dialers
• Ability to gather, interpret and present sales data
• Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams and departments in a rapidly growing environment.
• Proven ability to communicate and manage relationships with senior executives.
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Extensive experience in a metrics-driven sales organization.
• Strong ability to coach managers and sales representatives to higher performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
