A long standing company in the food and beverage industry is seeking a dynamic eCommerce Marketing Specialist to join their sales management team. As an eCommerce Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across all eCommerce platforms and implementing effective marketing strategies to enhance the company’s online presence. This is a key position where your innovative ideas and expertise will shape the future of the company’s eCommerce success.
Responsibilities:
Own all aspects of the eCommerce sales process, including acquisition, conversion, and retention.
Design, implement, and manage various eCommerce sales channels, with a focus on Amazon and other third-party platforms.
Drive growth in sales and profitability for eCommerce and mail order transactions.
Stay informed about the latest developments in the eCommerce sector through continuous research.
Collaborate with senior management to keep them updated on eCommerce operations.
Advocate for new strategic initiatives to support eCommerce growth and present business cases to support these ideas.
Provide data-driven insights on eCommerce performance to better understand shopping behaviors and trends.
Work closely with Wholesale and Retail leaders to establish and manage annual Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Collaborate with Content Creators to generate online traffic and maximize user engagement.
Utilize effective SEO/SEM techniques to maximize search engine traffic and visibility.
Become a subject matter expert on all platforms and programs used by the company in this role.
Oversee website development, design, and general maintenance through a third-party vendor.
Manage relationships with developers and technology vendors to implement new features and improve user experience.
Troubleshoot system issues and ensure the smooth functioning of the eCommerce platform.
Maintain and manage the customer database.
Create sales projections and s to inform decision-making.
Manage graphics creation and marketing materials to support eCommerce efforts.
Train staff and oversee direct s (1-5 people).
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience as an eCommerce Specialist, Sales Manager, or a related role.
Complete knowledge of eCommerce procedures and techniques.
Familiarity with SEO/SEM and other marketing tools.
Leadership experience and the ability to effectively lead a small team.
Experience in forecasting and project management.
Strong understanding of data analysis and business principles.
Problem-solving and innovation skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain a professional approach.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Preferred:
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Google Certification in digital marketing.
A portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
Website management experience.
Experience with the Big Commerce platform.
