Position Overview:

Supports Company business objectives through the successful coordination of final mile, in-home delivery and installation services that exceed customer expectations. This position assumes responsibility for the coordination, planning, routing, and administrative support required to provide customers with a seamless delivery experience. This is a customer facing role and frequently serves as the “face” of the Company with regard to delivery services.

Responsibilities include:

• Takes ownership of support processes required to ensure successful “just in time” delivery
• Plans delivery/installation routes. Coordinates daily routing with respect to geographic zones, vehicles, safety, and freight/load.
• Routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
• Serves as the primary point of contact for customers regarding scheduling issues and concerns, including ensuring compliance with specific requirements
• Coordinates and plans drop offs/ receiving from 3rd party vendors
• Coordinates and schedules commercial deliveries and deliveries requiring third party services
• Serves as liaison between Company and third-party contractors
• Conducts customer verification of assigned delivery time windows
• Ensures delivery related paperwork is completed with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Electronically monitors progress of the delivery crews throughout the day
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Skills Required:

• Experience in routing, logistics and/or dispatch preferred
• Genuine desire to provide a “White Glove” service experience to every customer!
• Exceptional logic and reasoning skills- instinctive problem solver
• Highly proficient computer skills–familiarity with routing software and CRM systems
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills. Must be able to professionally communicate across multiple audiences/personalities in both oral and written format.
• Professional phone demeanor a MUST. (This position involves frequent, daily, customer contact via telephone.)
• “Safety first” mindset
• Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus
• Willingness to work extended, or non-traditional, hours on occasion as dictated by business needs
• Reliable transportation (including the ability to accommodate extended/non-traditional hours)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Close computer work/ability to focus on a computer screen for extended periods of time
• Manual dexterity sufficient to support expert level computer skills
• Ability to read small print/numbers.
• Ability to work effectively with a moderate level of background noise typical of an office “cubicle” environment.
