We are seeking a Continuing Education Manager who will be proactive and diligent in the organization, planning, and implementation of content, marketing and technical components of online written and video continuing education courses for commercial real estate brokers, appraisers, attorneys and architects. The incumbent will implement policies and procedures related to the development of CE content and assessment activities and ensure adherence to those policies and procedures; ensure accuracy of CE content, validity of CE assessment activities and implementation of appropriate instructional design methods for CE programs; and develop and implement new CE programs, while staying up to date on course requirement and submission standards.
We are looking for someone who is both practical and creative, while being proactive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Marketing
– Work with key stakeholders on a marketing strategy to display the new online CE product line to our robust database of commercial real estate executive and implement plan on an ongoing basis
– Work with SEO and technology team to create a marketing strategy to showcase the online CE product line to the commercial real estate community on a national scale
– Work with creative team to manage collateral needed for plan
– Create and monitor a marketing budget approved by executive team
– Work with technology team to track visitors to website and market accordingly
Content
– Manage the content creation process to have a consistent workflow of courses and assessments provided for a variety of job types and states. Includes, but is not limited to:
o ensuring appropriate and effective
o assessment of needs for each CE program
o creation of CE assessments (quizzes, exams, etc) as required by application standards
o leveraging of subject matter expert resources
o utilization of instructional design methods
o coordination and collaboration with various teams including content and executive teams
o partnering with content and executive teams to create a content calendar and carry out the necessary steps for creation
o utilizing our news and webinar content (written and video) to create CE courses for a variety of job types and states
o partnering with sales team regarding any paid/sponsored content
o proactively identify industry trends and changes and ensure resources are deployed effectively to maintain and develop content
Technology
– Create courses on the backend of the LearnDash WordPress plug-in based on already established templates
– Work with the technology and design teams to ensure that all larger updates to the website are handled and track any glitches that may arise, directing the problem to the appropriate company team member
Project Management
– Maintain all files for CE provider and course approvals in an organized manner and prepare for any audits
– Stay apprised of state and course requirements for California, New York, Texas, Chicago and Florida DRE, BREA, AIA and MCLE
– Track expiration dates for provider approvals and refile as needed
– Apply for approval with additional states as platform expands
– Complete, submit, edit and track all course applications
– Manage and implement any trade agreements with associations
– Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
– Serving as a point of contact for team and clients when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
– Communicating with key internal stakeholders to keep the project aligned with their goals
– Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
– Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or revenue and expense budgets for the project change
– Provide weekly reports to key internal stakeholders as to the progress of the project
– As needed, address requests for information about the CE programs when received through website or email
Qualifications/Skills
– Marketing experience
– Strong editing and copywriting skills
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to write clearly and effectively
– Knowledge of the commercial real estate industry required
– Experience with operating and managing computerized training
– Growth marketing/optimization mindset; deeply analytical
– Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and intellectual curiosity
– Ability to closely manage timelines, complete projects on time and manage budgets
– Able to communicate effectively with developers and end-users
– Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
– Experience leading projects that involve multiple stakeholders
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to deal effectively with people, resolve issues, make decisions, facilitate and support change, and deal with adversarial people or situations
Ability to work under tight timelines across organizational boundaries
– Knowledge of WordPress and LearnDash a plus
– In-depth knowledge of continuing education program development and program evaluation a plus
