Transportation consulting firm hiring a CFO to provide accounting and audit/review assistance to multiple Transportation Industry customers. Must have experience in Transportation and must be experienced with the audit/review process with regional or larger accounting firms. Ability to file tax returns or willingness to do so a big plus.

Successful candidate will have 3 years as the CFO of a trucking company with a minimum of 50 trucks. He/she must have gone through the audit process. Alternatively, the successful candidate could be a manager level or above member of the accounting firms that work with trucking companies. Imagine, partner level compensation with no buy in, no crazy first quarter work hours. Work – family balance.

Base compensation is $150,000 to $200,000 commensurate on experience. Bonus potential between 20-30% with more for exceptional performers. You would manage a staff of 5-7 accountants who work in remote settings and a few other members of the team as well as be responsible for closing the books for some of your own customers.

We have very successful practice managing over $1.5 billion in revenue and placing over $150 million of debt per year. There will be very strict confidentiality, non solicitation and very limited non compete contracts in place. There is no flexibility here. We will not groom our next competitor.
