Confidential Hiring for Casa Montessori Directress Full Time

An established Montessori Childcare center in Surrey is seeking Montessori Director/Directress, who is a dynamic, experienced, and mature leader with a deep commitment to implementing Montessori Education.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Develop lesson plans and manage the learning experiences for students to ensure the needs of the individual students and groups are met.

2. Maintain a neat, well-organized, and attractive prepared environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy.

3. Work to develop close and effective relationships with parents, including opportunities to discuss and understand the child’s individual progress; encourage parents to become involved with the school’s initiatives and integrate with the wider school community.

4. Participate in the induction and transition process, assisting new children and families in becoming familiar with the environment and practices.

5. Attend and prepare for school events such as Open Days/Evenings, Sports Day, Parent-child events, etc

Qualification and Experience:

• A Montessori Diploma and a valid ECE credential are required.
• At least 5 years of experience as a primary teacher in a Montessori environment

Compensation and Benefits

This is a 10 month, full-time position starting April 01st. The salary offered is commensurate to experience. Valid ECE License holders will also qualify for government-approved wage enhancement in addition to salary.

Benefits for full-time employees include health, dental, paid sick days and holidays, 50% of training costs for Montessori-related training, and reduced tuition fee for eligible dependent children.
