For the past 50 years, our firm has successfully expanded our training operations and we now have multiple successful campus locations, from coast to coast, all dedicated to helping adult students reach their career goals through education and training.

We are currently seeking an ambitious, outgoing, and qualified individual to manage all aspects of the admissions and recruitment operations for one of our North Carolina campuses as the Director of Admissions.

The Director of Admissions is accountable for maintaining and managing the campuses recruitment and enrollment plans to achieve target goals. This position is a perfect opportunity for an individual who is passionate about campus admissions and who is committed to the training and personal enrichment of each student. The right candidate will be an experienced sales manager with documented success in team building, goal achievement and strong communication skills. Special consideration will be given to those with related admissions experience in the private, for-profit education industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct a team of admissions professionals for one campus. Monitors and evaluates performance to ensure growth and development of the admissions team.
• Counsel employees on company policies, procedures, and practices to ensure a sound employee relation environment. Guides professional development and provides motivation and mentoring to team members.
• Track and maintain data regarding recruitment and alter strategies and approaches to respond to new information.
• Provides direction and input to enrollment management efforts. Develops, implements, and maintains departmental policies and procedures to align recruitment initiatives and activities throughout the campus
• Ensures the training and professional development of presentation and service techniques for the admissions team. Participates in the development of annual enrollment objectives to align with the College’s strategic plan; Assists in the development of programs that foster the enrollment of non-traditional students.
• Responsible for recruiting and interviewing qualified admissions professionals and establishing and implementing new hire and existing employee training
• Develop and maintain community relationships with business and civic organizations.
• Manages and participates in recruitment and admissions activities, including the cultivation of relationships within varied channels of recruitment like initiation and maintenance of High School and Veteran Programs
• Serve as an integral part of the executive management team.

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

• MUST have a minimum of 2 years Higher Education Admissions or enrollment management experience at a private, for-profit school.
• Prefer 3 or more prior years as a successful Admissions Officer.
• Previous supervisory and/or sales experience managing professional staff is preferred.
• Prefer prior experience as a Director of Admissions.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
• Computer literacy including working knowledge of MS Office Suite
