Bookkeeping Assistant

The bookkeeping assistant will track and evaluate day-to-day financial activities for a variety of clients. Responsible for performing functions requiring a thorough knowledge of general accounting methods, principles, and practices. Must be able to think analytically, critically and communicate with clients with patience and empathy. Should be a skilled multi-tasker, have good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. Working knowledge of QuickBooks including the ability to problem solve within QuickBooks is a must. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position. Hourly compensation based on job related experience.

Location

  • Seffner, FL (not a remote position)

Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or equivalency diploma
  • 1 – 3 years of QuickBooks Online experience
  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting preferred
  • Experience with Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel required
  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to keep records and files organized
  • Strong time manager with respect for deadlines
  • Decisive and critical thinker with ability to identify errors and solve problems
  • INTEGRITY AND HONESTY are essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
